Hey! Sorry for the late, late reply!
Glad you're still looking forward to reading the book. We're already a few drafts in, and it sounds like it's going to be published next year, at long last.
Interesting development: we had a conference call with the RCMP today. The first official call with them in which they share information about the case. I use the term 'share' very loosely here. They've agreed to make a few things available, which I'll get my hands on tonight. Mostly stuff from the early 90s, but I'm hoping it's interesting nonetheless.
Unfortunately we had requested access to Krystal's diary, but they wouldn't release it because of privacy concerns. Shrug.
So with that in mind, I think we're in the final stretch here. I stopped updating the website because there was just too much to share at one point, so I figured people would read it in the book, and I could stop worrying about always keeping the site up to date. Too challenging. Hope it's an interesting read - we're really trying to give Krystal a voice in her absence. Her family misses her dearly.
I will keep you guys updated!

I think this is one of few Canadian cases that Unsolved Mysteries profiled and I wish that AMW would have recognized this fugitive as well. Out of most of the cold case fugitives out there, Ronald Bax doesn't seem like someone who should be that hard to locate, especially if he's believed to be hiding out in the U.S. I agree, I Wished AMW's Aired this trash face and aired full segment on him, If they did, He might be regonized and get caught.
