Admin Note #1: According to articles, anyone with information on the whereabouts of Raymond Scoville should contact Crime Stoppers of Will County, Illinois. You can submit an anonymous web tip by clicking on this link: crimestoppersofwillcounty.org/submit-a-tip/Raymond Scoville is wanted for the murder of his lover/business partner Colleen Racich in 1982. Scoville was the owner of several stores, selling music, paraphernalia, etc. Colleen worked for him as well as being his lover. Before that, Scoville was involved with a woman named Jill Clark. She was found shot to death. Although her death was ruled a suicide, it was determined it was Scoville's gun used. Scoville was never charged with Clark's death. Eventually, Colleen suspected that Scoville might have been embezzling from their stores. She was eventually able to shut down his most successful store, infuriating him. Scoville convinced Colleen to come by his house to settle these business disputes. While at his house, Colleen was shot 8 times. Scoville left her body in the trunk of her car in a parking lot. Scoville was arrested, but was able to post bail and flee. It's hard to determine where Scoville could be today. I could picture him living in a town big with art. I know its not much to go with. His big thing is his red-head fetish. Both Colleen and Jill were red-heads. Also, apparently he's suspected of being involved in the death of another girlfriend. This man may have killed three people, very dangerous and very underrated. UPDATE from site admin: As of July 26th, 2018, Scoville is still wanted for murder, according to Will County's online warrants search: www.willcountywarrants.com/index.php/data/name-search/details/2/8488Admin Note #2: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

I haven't got much of an opinion on Scoville's wherabouts. He was only aired five times between 1991-2003 and I agree that he's very underrated. I feel he may have fled to Europe based on his character but anything's possible.

That's a good point. I could see him being like Ira Einhorn and fleeing overseas. He seems like he could fit in Europe very easily.

I get a "Sheldon from 'The Big Bang Theory' or the Jack Black character from the film "High Fidelity" nerd vibe from this guy...
since Scoville ran stores in music buy back and collectibles that he may have a fussy know-it-all demeanor as a discriminating collector. If fellow collectors can recognize his personality as a stand-out as controlling and ruthless as a collector and an embezzler/murderer, it could lead to his capture..if he is still alive as a hi-fi collector as a fugitive.
I read in a crime magazine that Scoville also wrote science fiction stories as a hobby. He could frequent comic book and science fiction conventions.

One thing that was on www.amw.com was that at some point, Scoville has written a black market book on how to assume a new identity. I think he has used this to his advantage and this would explain why he's been under the radar so far. The ironic part is since he was sentenced to forty years, it's quite possible he'd be out by now due to parole.

The ironic part is since he was sentenced to forty years, it's quite possible he'd be out by now due to parole. What's fascinating about this is there's been a few fugitives where we learned they had read books on how to disappear, how to form a new identity etc... But here it's the actual fugitive themself who wrote the book! This unfortunately makes me even less optimistic after all these years that Scoville can one day be caught, but at the same time modern technology, facial recognition etc... can still trump any 80's-level street knowledge.

I doubt facial recognition would do much good at this point (I'm guessing you're thinking of the Neil Stammer case), but the most recent photo of Scoville was taken in 1982. He's probably aged substantially by this point.

Although such cold cases solved seem to be more of the 90's and early 2000's (if you want to classify that as a cold case) as opposed to Scoville from 1982.

Anyone know where I could view this episode. It was filmed at my house as a child and the VHS tape of the episode is long gone.

You can ask in our episode request section but as stated there this will be a hard case to find since it is older.
