On July 14, 2005, at approximately 1 a.m., 17-year-old Chad Elliott Lynch and a friend were sitting in a vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot located at 6806 N. 50th Street in Tampa when an armed unknown black male wearing a dark colored mask, approached them.
The suspect shot Lynch in the upper torso, killing him, after attempting to rob the victims. The unknown suspect who fled the scene, and is currently still at large is described as a black male 5’9”, medium build who was last seen wearing dark clothing and a dark colored mask.

Thoughts? I found this on a Crimestoppers page awhile back and decided to post this case because a 17-year old is still technically a child. Sadly there's extremely little to work with here so our best hopes is that the killer bragged or confided to someone about killing Chad.
