EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Edinburg police are searching for two men, who they say may be involved in Saturday’s fatal shooting.
Edinburg natives Fernando Amaya Orna and Hector Oliver Ramirez are wanted for murder, according to a release from the Edinburg Police Department.
The incident occurred at 4:30 a.m. at the 200 block of North 25th Avenue. At the scene, police found a man, who was later pronounced dead, with gunshot wounds in the parking lot area of the hotel.
Authorities identified the man as 29-year-old Victor Gerardo Hernandez of Edinburg.
Authorities are also searching for the suspect’s vehicle which is described as a white 2020 Chevrolet Silverado with license plate TGZ-0107.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts or information about the case is asked to call the Edinburg Police Department at (956) 289-7700 or the Edinburg Crime Stoppers at (956) 383-TIPS (8477).

Thoughts? I am taking a slight risk posting this case since I have nothing to officially confirm Orna and Ramirez as still at large as of today’s posting date (March 12th, 2024). I am simply reasonably assuming they still are to make a posting since that article is from only nine days ago and I’ve seen no updates since.
