Soon after, she was reported missing. The next day, a search volunteer found Morin’s body just off the trail in a wooded area. The suspect’s DNA left at the Maryland scene matched DNA evidence recovered from an unsolved Los Angeles home invasion and assault of a young girl in March 2023. A suspect has been arrested in Tulsa Oklahoma and his name is Victor Antonio Hernandez Martinez a 23 illegal immigrant from El Salvador where he Is actually wanted for a murder as well I am infuriated but at least he is in custody ABC news my source

I have seen a photo of the man in custody, and he looks so much like the composite sketch. This is one of those cases where the witness was very accurate.

Glad justice will be done here but sad to see this death already been used for political purposes because of his immigration status.
Honestly, it what irks me with a lot of horrible crimes these days.
A lot of people care more about whether they can use it for political points and don't care one bit about the victim or their loved ones.

I agree with you this guy is a vile creature and should be held accountable but I see what you are saying the media has turned these kind of cases and turn them into political tools to boost chances of getting elected not holding people accountable regardless of there immigration status what happened to Ms Morin was utterly disgusting and pointless a beautiful soul was taken from the world to soon and in a heinous appalling way and yes I am aware that he allegedly is wanted for murder in El Salvador and a violent home invasion in which a little girl and a her mother was hurt in Los Angeles but he was able to flee to the east coast and knowing he was wanted for the charges in El Salvador and California he is my opinion a vindictive sociopathic monster with no regard for human life and regardless of whether he is a illegal immigrant or not as you said ninja108 should not outweigh the fact that he has killed two people in different jurisdictions should say more than he his immigrant status

I'll add one more thing the people who do turn crimes this in to a highly politicized weapon to discord and hate are in my opinion are just as repulsive and vile as the people who are responsible for the ghastly crimes I mean seriously Kate stainless family went through this and as well Luis bracamontes who im not going to get into those cases if you are curious or the Pedro Espinoza or Edwin Ramos are good examples as well but I firmly believe that this statement is true I know a lot of think it's just a problem over the last eight years this needs to be said this is a multiple generation problem the whole immigration issue im going to avoid but let me be blunt both the democratic party and the Republican party are equally culpable but I will acknowledge that the gop has done it more severely recently but we need to band as a country and do better

Also sude note according to ABC news Martinez was also a member of associated with ms13 but this was a lone wolf killing the Maryland authorities say no one else was involved this case reminds me of Darwin Torres in the level of sheer barbarity and depravity and another coincidence Torres was also from El Salvador but I am only bringing this up because these cases parallel so much Torres case was on Northern Virginia while this was in Maryland
