Now as I have said I m Republican I usually stay away from political matters by a country mile but I do also believe that hate crimes based on either race ethnicity sexual orientation or religion under no circumstances should be tolerated after all the Constitution says people are entitled to live life in the pursuit of happiness in my definition is you should be able to live your life how you want to and not have to live in fear of getting killed or brutalized but I'm a heartless case of insidious bigotry and hatred a man named daqua Ritter killed a transgender woman named dime doe who by all accounts was a vibrant young woman Ritter killed her and later fled to new York but he was convicted of murder and federal hate crime charges in Columbia hopefully spending the rest of his life in federal prison will make him miserable and die alone and forgotten in prison good riddance to bad rubbish

Thanks so much scumhunter I can't stand cases like this but I feel it's important to not let history and maybe we can get better at protecting people in the future

The ones that are the most risk of danger are usually the ones who in the bigots eyes are the people who buck social trends but I believe it's the individuals right to make their own decisions to live there lives however they want as long as it's not harmful or illegal

LaMeek's case is different, but nationally, in the case of transphobia since '022, one Christopher Rufo made it worse with a psy-op campaign. He added blood libel into the mix by blaming transgenders for crimes against children that they didn't commit, using propagandists like the TwitXter account LibsOfTikTok to create a moral panic and, under Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis, a political groundswell.
