DENVER (KDVR) — Police in Westminster asked for the public’s help Tuesday in locating a child sexual assault suspect who they say cut off his ankle monitor.
Kenneth Albert Lif Jr., 37, allegedly was witnessed sexually assaulting a family member in June 2022, according to the Westminster Police Department
He was taken into custody by police on July 9, 2022, and released on bond 10 days later. As a condition of his release, he was required to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
Police said the department was notified that Lif had cut off his ankle monitor and that his whereabouts were unknown.
According to police, Lif has possibly been in Colorado Springs, as well as the Westminster, Thornton and Northglenn areas.
He was described as being 6 feet, 3 inches tall and 330 pounds with balding brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both arms and a distinct tattoo of a cross on his right forearm.
Anyone with information was urged to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. People can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

Thoughts? As of today’s posting date (February 3rd, 2024), there is still a posting on the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers’ Facebook page asking for information on Lif’s whereabouts that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a capture. According to the posting, the alleged victim was Lif’s own daughter.
