Case Details: Najee Grimes was a young father and a beloved football coach who worked with special education students at Inderkum High School in CA, the same high school Grimes attended growing up and returned to after playing college football himself. He was leaving a nightclub around 2 a.m. in July 2022 when shots rang out near a parking lot. Five people were injured and Grimes later died. For just over a year, Sacramento PD has not named a suspect…until now. His name is Tahje Michael. www.amwtips.com/Thoughts? The above was the case description on the AMW tips website for Tahje Michael who was the fist fugitive aired tonight on America’s Most Wanted (Season 27- episode 2- 1/29/2024). According to the airing, Michael possibly shot Najee Grimes for an extremely petty and ridiculous reason- for Najee allegedly telling him the watch he was wearing was fake. Good decision to have Tahje Michael profiled with his numerous distinctive tattoos. My thoughts are with Najee Grimes’s family whose case I support being added to our “ Unofficial Most Idiotic Murders Hall Of Shame”.

With a casualty toll of 1 dead, 4 wounded, I consider Tahje's suspected crimes extremely graphic and revulsive. He is, or close to, the best capture AMW could've landed within the last 6 episodes.

Fox has confirmed on Facebook that Tahje is capture #1193! AMW’s website hasn’t confirmed the capture yet, but that may be because the capture took place after the season finale. Having said that, they probably will confirm it later; i.e. closer to the start of the next season. I don’t know. I know that it has been said before, but it certainly bears repeating, the reboot of AMW has proven that this sort of show is vital to the course of justice. |

It’s already confirmed by the Fox network on Facebook, AMW website likely just in offseason now so that’s good enough for me lol |

I wasn’t complaining about anything, just acknowledging the situation. 😆 Oh no totally understandable especially considering they started this season going from 1190 to 1191 captures and didn't state who #1191 was although it was probably Raymond McLeod. It is possible they start the next season with 1195 or something and we're all confused again lol. (Not to mention the number is wrong in the first place lol) |
