WILKINSON IS FROM AND HAS STRONG TIES TO ORANGE COUNTY BUT AUTHORITIES BELIEVE HE COULD HIDING ANYWHERE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
Case Details:
Wilkinson is at large after being named in a four-count federal grand jury indictment accusing him of selling counterfeit oxycodone pills to a 17-year-old who died of a fentanyl overdose. The teen had bought the pills in June of 2021 after responding to a Snapchat ad posted by Wilkinson. Seven defendants have been charged in separate cases for distributing fentanyl that has killed 10 people over the last several years.

In addition, a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of 27 families of minors (across the country) has been filed against Snapchat for features on the platform that encourage, enable and facilitate the existence of a deadly “Snapchat Drug Cartel” that uses the platform for illicit sale of illegal drugs, most of which are counterfeit and contain lethal doses of fentanyl. Brooke’s family is one of the families who have filed the suit.

The above was the case description on the AMW tips website for Wilkinson who was the final fugitive aired tonight on John Walsh’s return and Calllahan Walsh’s debut as hosts of America’s Most Wanted. They interviewed Brooke’s mother who is a pharmacist herself. Snapchat responded to AMW and stated they are taking the opioid epidemic very seriously and doing their best to get drug dealers off of their platform. (Whether that’s platitudes or not it was fair of AMW to ask them to share their side of the story and nice that Snapchat didn’t just decline comment).
