Rapper fbg duck aka Carlton weekly was brutally gunned down in Chicago S historic gold coast in 2020 six reputed gangsters of the o block gang and ducks and he apparently was a member of a set called the tookaville gang but they are sers of the gangster disciples and the black disciples which have been feuding for control of Chicago's criminal underworld for years but even if he was a member of any criminal gang doesn't give these scumbags to play judge jury and executioner and what made this even more tragic is that he had a son and was shopping for him and now he has to grow up without his father and this case was apparently a hit placed on his head by another Chicago rapper named King von however he was murdered himself in Atlanta so either it was a hit or a gangland killing but what's important is that these scumbags are going to spend there lices in federal prison hopefully this will provide some comfort to ducks family that they have justice and this was long trial it lasted about 3 months

This has been happening over and over again, in quick succession, with musicians in the microgenre "drill rap". I'm surprised the overall trend has flown so low on the public's radar.

Charges have been filed in the case involving not one but two Chicago area rappers king von who I mentioned was killed in a shooting in Atlanta Georgia and now the second player in our story another Chicago area rapper has been arrested trying to flee the country in Broward county Florida he was arrested boarding a private flight lil durk his name is durk devontay banks and six other men have been charged with murder for hire in the southern district of California in Los Angeles he was allegedly ordered the crime and was carried out by the alleged triggermen the accomplices javon London grant aka "cuz" deandre dontrell Wilson aka "dede" Keith jones aka "flacka" David brian Lindsey aka "browneyez" and asa Houston aka "boogie" the motive was allegedly the death of banks lifelong friend dayvon Bennett aka "king von" who was killed in a Atlanta nightclub shooting the alleged motive was retaliation but at least hopefully doj has more info

Durk banks has now been charged with a superseded indictment charging him with new federal offenses he remains held without bond in Los Angeles county custody alongside his codefendants the charges are as followed one count of conspiracy one count of murder for hire using interstate facilities resulting in death one count of using carrying and discharging firearms and possession of a machine gun and possession of such firearms in furtherance of a crime of violence resulting in death
