LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Lauderhill police are investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old man dead.
The shooting was reported just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 1190 N. SR 7.
According to authorities, officers arrived to the residential community to find an unresponsive man inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
Lauderhill Fire Rescue personnel transported the victim, identified as Jaden Aldrich, to Broward Medical Health Center, where he died.
A motive for the shooting is unknown and detectives have not identified any suspects.

Thoughts? As of today posting date (January 11th, 2024), Jaden’s case is still listed as an unsolved homicide on Broward Crime Stoppers. I realize there’s not much to work with here but still wanted to post the case after I found his online obituary with several photos of him from friends and family. There’s also a gofundme for promotion of his music. At his young age, this case is so heartbreaking.
