(Above photo credit: abc3340.com) From abc3340.com: JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A man is wanted in connection to the shooting deaths of two teens in Jefferson County. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said 20-year-old Leon Walker, Jr. is being sought for two counts of capital murder, one count of attempted murder, one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle, and three counts of reckless endangerment. Walker is accused of shooting 13-year-old Jonathan Cottingham and 19-year-old Louis Craig IV while they were sitting in a vehicle in the 200 block of Chickasaw Drive near Adamsville. The sheriff's office said a third juvenile was also inside the vehicle, but was able to escape injury. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Walker, authorities asked that you call Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777 or contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 205-325-1450, option 2.abc3340.com/amp/news/local/alabama-jefferson-county-sheriffs-office-forestdale-teens-killed-shooting-arrest-made-20-year-old-leon-walker-jr-chickasaw-drive-near-adamsvilleThoughts? As far as I can tell, Walker is still at large as of today’s posting date (January 8th, 2024), since the above article is from only a few days ago with no updates about a capture that I could find online since. However if that status has since changed and/or changes in the future, anyone is more than welcome to let us know if we don’t find out first.
