Cesar Raudales Macias is wanted for the vehicular homicide of 23-year old Beth Buchanan, a doctoral student at the University of Goergia. Cesar was allegedly driving while intoxicated, with no headlights and on the wrong side of the road. As a result his vehicle crashed head-on with Beth's vehicle. Beth was tragically killed and her mother suffered life-threatening injuries.
Cesar was transported to a hospital where he fled. He was last known to have been at his parents residence in Athens, Georgia.
In November, the US Marshals office in Macon took over the investigation.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact Crime Stoppers Of Greater Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477) if you have any information on Cesar's whereabouts. Thoughts? As of today, December 22, 2023, Cesar is still at large based on a Crime Stoppers Of Greater Atlanta Facebook post from earlier in this week. Hopefully the US Marshals can help Beth's family get the justice and accountability they deserve.
