Juan Jimenez is wanted by the Glastonbury Police Department for the murder of Robert Rooney. He was first aired in January 1994 and was last aired on July 17, 2004.
Robert Rooney was a retiree who ran a local cafe for 25 years. He also kept large amounts of money in his home. Three men in March 1991 broke into Rooney's home and stole $100,000 worth of cash. The men went and spent the money partying in Atlantic City when they shared some of it with their friend, Juan Jimenez. Jimenez agreed to accompany the men in a second robbery plot at Rooney's home. On June 29, 1991, the four men broke into Rooney's home again and Rooney confronted and attacked Jimenez. In the struggle, Jimenez shot Rooney twice but sustained a gunshot wound to his arm as well. The robbers dragged Rooney to the basement where they let him bleed to death, taking his safe out of the home. Jimenez went to the hospital to get treated and claimed to have been shot by a carjacker. Without evidence to the contrary, the authorities let Jimenez go. Jimenez's three accomplices were arrested and sentenced to various prison terms, however Jimenez is still at large.

Thoughts? I finally found an online article from 1994 that mentioned Jimenez was aired on AMW in January of this year, however the last online article regarding this case is from 1998. Judging by that and his last AMW profile being in 2004, makes me feel that investigators don't have many, if any recent leads. The AMW website mentioned he may have fled to Colombia or Venezuela which is perhaps why he's been so difficult to locate.

UPDATE from site admin: I have not found any new articles online about this case since HeadMarshal's original posting in 2015, which is understandable considering this is a cold case. As far as I can tell, Jimenez is still at large as of this update (7/23/2018), since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
