Gamaliel Castro Moreno is wanted in connection with the death of 13-month old Christopher Martinez. Gamaliel is accused of practicing medicine without a license at a clinic that was popular among poor immigrants. Christopher was brought to the clinic because of flu symptoms. Gamaliel allegedly injected Christopher with an unknown substance and told his mother to withhold food and water, even though Christopher's symptoms included vomiting and diarrhea. Christopher then tragically died because of major organ failure due to dehydration.
Authorities arrested Gamaliel's wife on a charge of tampering with evidence. According to Newspaperarchive.com records, a warrant for Gamaliel's arrest on a charge of involuntary manslaughter was issued. Gamaliel had fled to Mexico.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Santa Ana Police Department at 714-245-8049 if you have any information on Gamaliel Moreno's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, November 28, 2023, Gamaliel has an active UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case in PACER. The Orange County Sheriff online services have been down recently which means I can't check the county warrants database for the state warrant. An active UFAP case in PACER "usually" means there is an active state warrant, but I'll keep checking to see if the Orange County warrants database comes back online.
My biggest concern obviously is that Gamaliel has continued to practice medicine in Mexico. He clearly should not be treating patients. I really hope that Christopher's family can get the justice and answers that they deserve.
