Looks like Edgardo Perez will be the first case next week- like I said this season is heavy on FBI cases- but they have been mostly airing recent cases so we can do a cold case once in a while. This week is actually the most optimistic I’ve felt about all the fugitives get a good feeling on all three not being impossible.
And no breaking news alert for Kenneth DeHart- likely taped in advance of the manhunt.

I only have one tiny suggestion- I love that they’re showing missing children with known abductors in the missing child alerts since those are the easiest ones to solve but they aren’t actually showing the suspected abductors. Sometimes they’re a “companion” and not officially charged but even the ones with felony warrant they aren’t showing the mother or father or other known abductor as well. I feel pretty good we will get a direct result out of these eventually if they could also show what is usually the parental abductor as well.

I don’t want to cause anyone’s head to explode with this topic, but did John Walsh mention on tonight’s episode that there have been a total of 1,191 captures over AMW’s history? I’ve looked back at Season 26’s captures and I can only find evidence of 1,190. I know that the exact number of captures has frequently been debated on this site, but I still find it very intriguing to know the actual total. I’ve always enjoyed watching AMW, and was thrilled to hear that it had come back on television. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to watch the first season of the reboot, but I have been avidly watching the second season.

The total is off and should be 1209. Maybe they didn’t mention the amount because they finally realized it was incorrect who knows lol

lol! I know, Scumhunter. Personally, I would go with 1,209 captures!  Not necessarily to brag (1,191 is certainly a respectable number of fugitives captured) but because 1,209 fugitives taken off the streets is a monumental accomplishment and should be recognized. |

lol! I know, Scumhunter. Personally, I would go with 1,209 captures! Not necessarily to brag (1,191 is certainly a respectable number of fugitives captured) but because 1,209 fugitives taken off the streets is a monumental accomplishment and should be recognized. When they brought it back in 2021 with Elizabeth Vargas they claimed 1186 captures. To this day we have no idea why since of you went to old Facebook AMW.com archives etc… you’d see the last number they had taken credit for was 1204. I have tried contacting them several times to no avail. We assume it is a mistake they still haven’t realized and don’t purposely have the wrong number but it is frustrating as much as I love the show that they seemingly keep ignoring me about it. |

Just wanted to be honest about ratings haven’t heard anything lately, all I know is Fox was initially happy with ratings but the show has also lost viewers literally every single week it has been on. Apparently a lot of shows had their season finales last night too so that may be why. Next week will be a more “normal” week for AMW. Once again it seems Fox is overall happy as most of their shows are now reality shows that do just ok in the ratings so I don’t think the expectations are as great as they used to be. tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/americas-most-wanted-season-27-ratings/ |

Just wanted to also mention apparently all the scripted shows are coming back from hiatus so there may be stiffer competition now but Fox seems more reality based anyway.

It's already a big surprise that he was not captured a year ago. He was added with 7 others and 6 were captured within days and the other a month later.

I'm still a little surprised there Haven't been any captures even the 2021 version got 4 captures Like I said there needs to be patience, lots of fugitives possibly in Mexico, some there are decent leads that need to be worked on etc… 2021 was overblown because Alison Gracey and Christopher Jones were really one capture and Philip Dent was a random caught on camera segment and not a fugitive they planned to profile. Then Maurice Nesbitt In Pursuit also took credit for. So if you think about it 2021 wasn’t as great as it looked after all. As HeadMarshal stated the days of going after 7 zillion fugitives and hoping for 2 or 3 captures a week are long gone now and now it is about the long game. |
