(Above photo credit: Salt Lake City P.D. website archives) Fugitive Profile as of February 18th, 2015 (based on Salt Lake City PD Most Wanted website): Name: Troy Benjamin Wilson D.O.B.: 7/6/71 Height: 6’3″ Weight: 300 lbs Hair style/color: Long red hair Last known address: 1594 West 400 South, Trailer 89, SLC, UT Who to call if you've seen him: Salt Lake City Police at (801) 799-3000 Troy Benjamin Wilson is considered one of the Salt Lake City Police's department's Most Wanted fugitives. He has a 1st Degree Felony warrant charging him with six counts of Sodomy of a child. His alleged victims are a 4-year old boy and 6-year old girl. (the actual description is jumbled and says a 4 and 6 year old boy and girl but I'm assuming that's what they meant). According to the Salt Lake City Police website, Wilson has a pornography problem and a fascination with oral sex. And according to a YouTube broadcast which I will post below, Salt Lake police have received information Wilson may be in Oregon, so a special alert to readers in that state as well. Thoughts? I wish I knew what the relation was with Wilson and the children involved in this case, but he's believed to have more than one victim which makes him an even more dangerous alleged pedophile. He's had two already and he's been unaccounted for in the past decade, who knows what's happened since. We know he might be in Oregon. I'd also be on the lookout in trailer communities since he apparently lived in one in Utah. It should also be noted he is 6'3 and 300 lbs. Even though his photo is 11 years old that should stand out anywhere! So please readers, call Salt Lake Police if you've seen this man! www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXQZaLA4lPoslcpd.com/troy-benjamin-wilson/Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Based on physical appearance alone, if Troy Wilson got some type of national publiclity, then he should be incredibly easy to locate. Also based on his deprived obsessions and charges, I sadly feel he has sexually abused more children while on the run.

No his warrant still being searchable means he is almost in all likelihood still at large, but that for whatever reason Salt Lake P.D. removed the wanted listing for him on their live website

I’m always fascinated by fugitives who are able to elude capture for long periods of time when they have distinct physical characteristics. Really makes you think that there could be significantly more apprehensions if authorities focused on publicizing more distinct fugitives.

I just remembered this case and I had to ask: How useful would the publicity tied to either the FBI's Ten Most Wanted or US Marshals 15 Most Wanted be in reheating the manhunt?

I'm not sure but while perhaps some age-enhanced sketches would be useful, Wilson's physical characteristics 6'3 300 lbs would stand out in soliciting public tips.

Even getting Troy Wilson on the FBI's Featured Fugitives website would be a good idea if he has an UFAP warrant. This guy would still stand out to this day IMO, we just need to get his photo and characteristics available to a wider viewing audience.

Although there's no longer an online Salt Lake City P.D. Most, Utah warrants search still show Wilson as wanted as of 7/2/2022.

As of today, July 18, 2023, Wilson still has a warrant in Utah's statewide warrants database. I surprisingly did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for him in PACER.
