Jose Petronilo Leyva is wanted for the homicide of 17-year old Edgar Flores. According to Newspapers.com archives, Edgar was shot in the back during a fight at a local lake. Jose has been wanted ever since as Edgar's alleged killer.

Thoughts? As of today, November 13, 2023, Clayton County's court records database shows that Jose's murder case is pending with no filings since the warrant was issued. I checked PACER and did not see a UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Jose.
I hope that Edgar's family can get the justice and answers that they deserve. It is really tragic when young people around Edgar's age are murdered.
