A murder suspect considered “armed and dangerous” has been added to the Laredo Crime Stoppers’ most wanted list, according to authorities.
Luis Cardona Jr., 19, is a suspect in the shooting death of Mike Torres, 19. Cardona has active arrest warrants out of the Laredo Police Department for murder and engaging in organized criminal activity, both first degree felonies.
“Cardona is a fugitive from justice and is considered armed and dangerous,” LPD said in a statement.
To report the whereabouts of Cardona, call Laredo Crime Stoppers at 727-TIPS (8477). Information leading to an arrest may be rewarded with up to $1,000

Thoughts? As of today's posting date (November 11th, 2023), there is still a posting on the Laredo Police Department's Facebook page asking for information on Torres's whereabouts that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a capture. According to the posting, Cardona allegedly shot and killed Torres on October 3rd, 2023.
