Daniel Chavez is wanted for the homicide of 20-year old Jesus Gutierrez. According to Newspapers.com archives, Daniel and Jesus were drinking when they got into a fight. That is when Daniel pulled out a gun and allegedly shot Jesus to death. Daniel has been a fugitive ever since.

Thoughts? As of today, October 30, 2023, Daniel's murder case in Kings County's court records database is in open status. There has also been no events since the charges were filed, confirming that Daniel is unfortunately still a fugitive. I checked PACER and did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Daniel.
I hope Jesus's family will get the justice and answers they deserve.
