Case
Details: Carlo Bertelli went to his home in a rural part of Fauquier County, Virginia near Midland to get his stepson, twenty-year-old, Bryan Mace, to help him with a roofing job. Carlo tried to call Bryan multiple times, but those went unanswered. When Carlo arrived at his home, The inside of his basement area had been burned and Bryan's body was on the floor. Bryan had been shot to death. Because multiple items, including Carlo's gun collection was missing, Investigators concluded that Bryan had walked into a burglary and was murdered to eliminate him as a witness and then setting a fire to destroy any other evidence.
