FRANKLIN COUNTY Pa. (WHP) — A man on Franklin County's Top 10 Most Wanted list is also being viewed as a suspect for a 2022 homicide in Maryland.
In a post sent out by the county's sheriff's office on Thursday, 21-year-old Taejon Gill appeared on the department's Top 10 Most Wanted page.
Authorities in Franklin County say they are looking for Gill in relation to drug delivery charges.
However, Hagerstown Police also state that Gill is tied to the murder of 45-year-old Sharron Clark.
Officials state on Oct. 18 of 2022, officers in the area heard shots being fired near Jonathan St.
While searching, police report that a call came in to 911 about a gunshot victim in front of 55 Murph Ave.
Law enforcement says they located the victim, Sharron Clark, with multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite life saving first aid measures, Clark unfortunately passed away from his injuries at the Meritus Medical Center.
After investigation from police and evidence processing from crime labs, authorities issued a warrant for Gill's arrest.
Hagerstown Police say anyone with information that could lead to Gill's arrest will receive a reward.
Officers are advising to not approach Gill as he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Thoughts? As of today's posting date (September 22nd, 2023), a search of Maryland's online court records still shows Gill as having an active murder warrant. Articles on the Hagerstown case say Clark was the ex-boyfriend of Gill's mother, and she had the harrowing task of having to identify Gill as the alleged suspect.
