NEW ORLEANS —
An increased reward has been offered in the unsolved shooting that killed a 7-year-old girl in Algiers back in 2021.
On Dec. 26, 2021, Dillan Burton was riding with her mom and sister in Algiers when someone opened fire on their car.
Burton was killed, and since her death, no arrests have been made.
Crimestoppers is now offering an increased reward of $15,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
According to Crimestoppers, $10,000 of that reward was donated by an anonymous donor.
Anyone with information on the case can contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
