DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Police Department is persistently pursuing leads in the unsolved 1995 murder case of 48-year-old Frank Carnell Jr., a local security officer.
On August 6, 1995, Carnell was fatally shot multiple times while conducting his nightly patrol in the 13700 block of Maham Road. Despite the passage of over two decades, the case remains open as investigators continue to seek information that could lead to a breakthrough.
Sergeant Jerry Girdler, the officer in charge of the case, urges anyone with information about Carnell's murder to reach out.
