WEATHERFORD, Okla. (KOKH) — Weatherford police are looking for a man who is wanted for murder after he allegedly killed a member of his family.
Police responded to the 200 block of N Bradley on Saturday around 11 p.m. in reference to a fight that was ongoing. According to the police report, it was reported to dispatchers that one of the individuals appeared to be armed with a knife.
When officers arrived at the scene, they could not locate the disturbance. After police searched the area and spoke to several individuals, they were directed to apartment 209 in the complex.
According to the report, when police looked in the window of Apartment 209, they saw a man inside who was bleeding. Officers entered the apartment to aid the man, only to find out he was already dead.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Giddel Alfredo Leyva Sotelo.
Detectives recently obtained a warrant for the victim's relative, 20-year-old Rodolfo Sotelo. He is wanted for the charge of Murder in the First Degree.
Rodolfo is described as a Hispanic male who is approximately 5'8" to 5'9" tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds. Police say he has brown hair and brown eyes and has a tattoo on his right forearm.
At this time, detectives are not looking for any additional suspects in the case and believe the incident was domestic-related.
If anyone sees Rodolfo or knows of his whereabouts, they are asked to call 911 or their local police department.

Thoughts? As of today's posting date (July 1st, 2023), a search of Oklahoma's online court records shows still no events since a warrant on Sotelo was issued back on June 26th, 2023.
