Guillermo Villanueva Aguilar is wanted for the homicides of 23-year old Maria Laura Suarez and 31-year old Crisanto Flores. According to Newspapers.com archives, Guillermo and Maria had previously been in a relationship. Maria had kicked Guillermo out of her apartment after a violent argument where Guillermo had tried to choke Maria. Guillermo would later be jealous that Maria was dating Crisanto.
Authorities allege that Guillermo shot and killed Maria and Crisanto. Guillermo has been a fugitive ever since.

Thoughts? As of today, June 30, 2023, Guillermo has an active murder warrant in Orange County's public warrants directory. I checked PACER and did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Guillermo.
This is a really horrible case and underrated case that needs further publicity. The fact that Maria and Crisanto were both Hispanic/Latino would presumably be a factor as to why the media ignored this case after the homicides happened. I do hope that Maria and Crisanto's families can get the justice that they deserve.
