Javier Ontiveros Garrido is wanted for the homicide of 24-year old Arthur Sigala. According to Newspapers.com archives, Javier and Arthur were co-workers who had spent the evening drinking at two local bars. For reasons that were not disclosed, Javier then allegedly shot Arthur to death.
It is believed that Javier possibly fled south to either Los Angeles or Orange County in California or Mexico.

Thoughts? As of today, June 24, 2023, Javier's case in Kings County's court records database shows as "open" with no events since the initial filing on March 6, 2000. The above photo was taken from an April 21, 2000 Newspapers.com article about wanted fugitives in Kings County. Therefore we know for sure that Javier is still a fugitive.
I hope that Arthur's family can get the justice that they deserve.
