UPDATED: Prince William County police are looking for a 55-year-old Woodbridge man in connection with a fatal crash that occurred late Saturday, April 29 at the intersection of Old Bridge Road and Colby Drive in Lake Ridge.
Investigators with Prince William County Police Department's crash investigation unit have confirmed the identity of the driver of the Ford F-150 pickup truck involved in the crash that killed Eric Matthew Kuhn, 30, of Winchester, according to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, a Prince William County police spokesman.
Police are looking for Jeffrey Wayne Holman, 55, of Woodbridge, in connection with the crash.
Police say Holman allegedly failed to stop at the intersection, struck a Kia from behind and continued off of the roadway before striking a light pole, Carr said in a news release.
Holman then allegedly fled the area prior to police arriving on scene, the release said.
The crash occurred at about 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 29.
Kuhn was a passenger in Holman's vehicle and was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police were informed on May 19 that Kuhn had died as a result of his injuries, according to an earlier news release.
Holman is wanted for felony hit and run and driving on a revoked license. Attempts to locate Holman remained unsuccessful as of Friday, May 26, the release said.
Holman is described as a white male who is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes and a scar on his left arm.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash or who knows about Holman's whereabouts to contact police at 703-792-7000 or to submit a web tip to pwcva.gov/policetip.
