Socorro Cortes is wanted for the homicide of Juan Carlos Badillo. According to Google Newspaper Archives, Juan went to Socorro's home because he thought Socorro was in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend. Socorro then allegedly shot Juan to death. Socorro was working at a fruit packing company at the time of the homicide.

Thoughts? As of today, May 4, 2023, Socorro has an active homicide warrant in Florida's statewide warrants database. His case in Polk County's court records database is also classified as "open". Finally, he has an active UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case in PACER that was issued in 1995.
Socorro is most likely still alive in his late 50s, but I feel he will not be easy to find. Despite this, I hope that Juan's family will get justice.
