From lmtonline.com:
The search continues for a man accused of fatally stabbing another male near a central Laredo Stripes.
Juan Jose Rivera III, 19, is wanted on a murder warrant. To provide information on his whereabouts, call Laredo Crime Stoppers at 727-TIPS (8477). Information leading to an arrest may be rewarded with up to $1,000.
The case occurred at about 4:47 a.m. March 27, when Laredo police officers responded to a “fight in progress” at the Stripes Convenience Store on 1120 E. Saunders St.
Several callers reported a man on the ground bleeding while two people were seen running away from the scene, authorities said.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a man dead on the sidewalk of the 3800 block of McPherson Road. He would be identified as Juan Humberto Zuazua Jr., 37.
An investigation revealed that Zuazua left to charge his cellphone around the store in the 3800 block of McPherson Road. Then, two men in black walked toward the dumpster, according to police.
One male wearing black crossed the street to speak to a friend of Zuazua. That male in black was later identified as Hector Tovar Jr., 24.
Tovar allegedly told Zuazua’s friends to not get involved, police said.
Meanwhile, the man in black wearing the baseball cap fatally stabbed Zuazua. Rivera was identified as the suspect after police received an anonymous tip, according to authorities.
On March 28, 111th District Judge Monica Z. Notzon issued an arrest warrant for Rivera on the charge of murder.
On March 31, Tovar was served with an arrest warrant charging him with failure to report a felony. Webb County Jail records show that he was released on bond the same day.

Thoughts? As far as I can tell, Rivera is still at large as of today's posting date (April 29th, 2023), since the above article is from only 2 days ago with no updates about a capture that I could find online since. However, if anyone has any updates before we find out first, they are always more than welcome to e-mail our website contact form and let us know.
