Julian Camunez is wanted for the homicide of 24-year old Mario Rico. Authorities say that two groups of people were fighting over a woman. That's when Julian allegedly beat Mario to death with a blunt object.
Julian was charged with Mario's homicide in 2006 and a warrant was issued. New Mexico's court records database shows that case was transferred to a grand jury, who indicted Julian again in 2012. An updated arrest warrant for 2nd Degree Murder was then issued.

Thoughts? As of today, April 10, 2023, Julian has an active homicide warrant in Bernalillo County's warrant database. I checked PACER and did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution).
It appears that Julian was originally charged with 1st Degree Murder in 2006, according to Newspapers.com. I assume the charges were updated since Mario was killed during a fight. Regardless, I do hope that Mario's family will get the justice that they deserve.
