From clickorlando.com:
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A man accused of DUI manslaughter in a 2019 fatal crash in Leesburg that killed three people, including a teen, went to lunch during his trial Tuesday and didn’t come back, according to court documents.
Zachery Waldo, 36, went on trial this week. He’s accused of causing a crash on Christmas Eve in 2019 that killed Christopher Smith, Jessica Smith and their 13-year-old daughter, Hailey.
During his trial, officials said Waldo left for a lunch break but did not return.
News 6 has reached out to Lake County Sheriff’s Office to see if he has been found. The court meanwhile has revoked Waldo’s bond.

Thoughts? As of today's posting date (March 27th, 2023), there is still a posting on the Leesburg Police Department's Facebook page asking for information on Waldo's whereabouts that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a capture. I don't see him in Florida's public access wanted persons search yet but I assume that is because the manhunt is relatively new.
I also realize the unfortunate coincidence of this being a literal real life "Where's Waldo?"- you expect a few Facebook jokes here and there but even the online news article headlines seem to be implying it- but this is also a tragic case where three people including a 13-year-old girl died because of this idiot and the idiotic court system that let him leave for lunch. Justice needs to be done here.
