BRIGHTON, Colo. — The Commerce City and Brighton Police Sexual Assault Task Force is looking for a man who they say didn't show up to court to face child sex assault charges.
Police said there's a nationwide extradition warrant out for 47-year-old Jason Brigham.
Brigham is facing 13 counts related to sexual assault on a child. He pleaded not guilty to the charges in May. He was set to appear in court for a jury trial on Wednesday, but failed to appear, according to court documents.
Police said a white pickup truck registered to Brigham was at the Adams County courthouse that morning. That truck is a white 2011 GMC HD 3500 Denali with temporary license plate 4983467.
Brigham removed his GPS ankle monitor, and it was later found at a nearby bus stop, police said.
Brigham is described as a 47-year-old man, about 6 feet tall and 280 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
Police said he may be driving a blue Chevrolet pickup truck with Colorado license plate number 558 SFP.
Anyone with information on Brigham or his whereabouts is asked to call the Brighton Police Department tip line at 303-655-8740.

As of today's posting date (March 1st, 2023), there is still posting on the Brighton Police Department's Facebook page asking for information on Brigham's whereabouts that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a captur. Additionally, I am placing Brigham in the Fugitives on TV section because In Pursuit with John Walsh made a posting about the manhunt on their Facebook page today.
