Tomorrow will mark the 15-year anniversary of a dramatic shootout and murder outside a Miami office building. All the key players wound up in custody- except for Rodney LaBossiere, who according to tv.com's episode guide was aired on the November 20th, 2010 episode of AMW on Fox. Below is an archived description of the case:
Cops Need Just One More Suspect From Shootout
Miami Dade Detective Ray Hoadley is on a mission to find Rodney Labossiere. He’s the last fugitive left to bust in a Miami shootout outside of an office building 10 years ago.
On Jan. 10, 2000, cops say Labossiere and two buddies were waiting in cars outside a Miami office building. Godfrey Brown, 36, left his office and was confronted by Labossiere's associate, Marco Davis, who stuck a gun in his face. Brown drew his weapon and the two gun-toting men got into a heated shootout in the parking lot-- leaving Brown dead on the ground.
Detective Hoadley says Labossiere, Davis and associate Shanga Rigby left the scene and fled to a local hospital where Davis was treated for his wounds.
All three filed false police reports and were arrested that night.
Labossiere and Rigby posted bond and fled the area, while Davis pleaded guilty to second degree murder with a firearm. Also, Davis agreed to cooperate on other cases with law enforcement.
In 2009, Davis failed to cooperate with Miami Dade cops on another case --- breaking his deal. Later, Davis was brought before a judge, who sentenced him to life imprisonment for violating conditions of his plea agreement. Meanwhile, Rigby was arrested, charged and convicted on federal bank robbery charges.
But the last one allegedly involved in the 2000 shoot-out remains on the run. Cops hope to catch up with Labossiere, as they consider him armed and dangerous.
Fugitive May Have Changed His Look
Detective Hoadley says Labossiere may be driving a cab under a fictitious name in New York. Also, there's a chance he fled the United States for Haiti. Labossiere may be keeping in touch with friends and family in the Miami area.
Miami Dade Police had these age-enhanced sketches drawn to show what Labossiere might look like today. He may or may not have a beard and/or goatee.
Thoughts? I think all the possible whereabouts make sense.

UPDATE: As of July 19th, 2018, LaBossiere still shows as having a warrant in Florida's online wanted persons search:
