Martin Gallegos is wanted for the homicide of 56-year old Helen Ochoa. Martin and Helen were dancing at a local bar when Martin got into a dispute with two men. Martin then allegedly shot and killed Helen and wounded the other two men.
Authorities issued an arrest warrant for Martin in 1983 and were also searching for two persons of interest. They are Juan Guerrero (now 70, as of January 10, 2023) and Guadalupe Montes (now 61, as of January 10, 2023). Martin was last seen in Mexico in 2017.

Thoughts? As of today, January 11, 2023, Martin is still a fugitive based on the City of Round Rock's press release and news articles that were publicized yesterday. The link below has a news article from 1985 (according to Newspapers.com) back when the state of Texas publicized their most wanted fugitives for the first time.
The good news is that we actually have a recent photo of Martin and confirmation of his whereabouts as of 2017. This gives me hope that Martin will be apprehended and prosecuted for Helen's homicide.
I also did not see any photos of Juan Guerrero and Guadalupe Montes.
