(Above photo credit: Boston Globe website) From wmur.com: MANCHESTER, N.H. — Manchester police are looking for a man who they said is connected to the Dec. 26 birth of a baby who was left in the woods of Manchester. Police said George Theberge, 45, was with Alexandra Eckersley when she gave birth. Investigators said the baby was left in 15-degree temperatures in a tent for more than an hour. Theberge is wanted on charges of felony tampering with witnesses, reckless conduct and endangering the welfare of a child. Anyone with information is asked to call Manchester police at 603-668-8711 or leave an anonymous tip with Manchester Crimeline at 603-624-4040.www.wmur.com/article/george-theberge-baby-manchester-woods-11923/42436568Article with more details on case: www.boston.com/news/the-boston-globe/2022/12/28/amanda-eckersley-birth-manchester-nh-woods-arraignment/Thoughts? As far as I can tell, Theberge is still wanted as of today's posting date (January 11th, 2022), since the above article is from only two days ago with no updates about a capture that I could find online since. This is also a high-profile case since Alexandra Eckersley is the daughter of former MLB-player Dennis Eckersley so there in theory should be updates once he's arrested.
