Police released video of a car that may have been involved in the homicide of a 22-year-old Detroit woman fatally shot on Christmas Eve.
"We have additional video footage that puts that vehicle in the area at the time of the crime," Detroit Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Woody said.
Christina Samuel of Detroit was with her 24-year-old friend in a car on Carlisle— near Gratiot and Eight Mile— when two people walked up to it and began shooting around 11:45 p.m., police have said. One had a long gun, the other had pistol.
Samuel was shot multiple times and died at the scene; the man she was sitting with also was shot and is in critical condition, police said.
Police aren't sure of the motive, but said they want to get the case solved.
"Our homicide task force is still working vigorously to locate the wanted subjects," Woody said.
It's not clear the make, model or year of the vehicle in the 2-second video clip taken from Carlisle, police said.

Samuel graduated from Indiana Tech in May with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Her mother said Samuel had plans to work with youth in probation and planned to get her master's degree.
"She was headed in the right direction – all the way around, " Tracey Toston, Samuel's mom, told the Free Press last week.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information in the case.

Thoughts? Since I mentioned this case in the Paige Stalker thread due to that one article, I felt that Christina Samuel's case deserves a thread on this forum as well. Christina sounded like a wonderful person, especially since she wanted to try and help at-risk youth in probation before they go down the path of a criminal lifestyle. Sadly, she's dead and her friend was critically injured. Let's identify her killers and bring them to Final Justice.
