KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
The FBI office in Kansas City has released wanted posters and full descriptions of two fugitives that escaped the Cass County jail on Monday night.
The inmates, Trevor Scott Sparks and Sergio Perez Martinez, have not been spotted since early Tuesday morning and had a significant head start on law enforcement in their escape.

The U.S. Marshals is offering a $5,000 reward, for each individual, for tips that lead to their capture.
A third individual, 64-year-old Steven Lydell Williams Sr., was charged with aiding the escape on Wednesday.
If you see either man, do not approach them, they are considered armed and dangerous. It's unknown if Sparks and Perez Martinez are traveling together.
Trevor Scott Sparks
Sparks, 33, is wanted for escaping confinement.
Sparks was convicted on November 7, 2022, by a federal trial jury, of leading a criminal conspiracy linked to two murders and multiple violent assaults.
The enterprise distributed at least a kilogram of methamphetamine every day for nearly a year in the Kansas City, Springfield, St. Joseph, and St. Louis, Missouri, areas, as well as illegally possessing firearms.
He is from Kansas City, Missouri.

Sergio Perez Martinez
Sergio Perez Martinez is wanted for escaping confinement.
On July 11, 2022, Perez Martinez pled guilty in federal court to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Martinez was being held in the Cass County, Missouri jail and escaped alongside Trevor Scott Sparks.
Authorities released the following description of Perez Martinez:

Eyes: Brown Height: 5’07”
Weight: 130 pounds
Sex: Male
Race: White (Hispanic)
Scars and Marks: Perez Martinez has a scar on the left side of his face, a tattoo on the back of his neck, a tattoo on his left forearm, and a tattoo on his back.
