The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest or arrests in these robberies.
Details:
The FBI Philadelphia Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three suspects responsible for at least nine robberies of city Rite Aid stores, some of the same locations more than once. The dates and locations of these robberies are as follows:
September 10, 2022 – Rite Aid; 6744-46 North 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA
September 12, 2022 – Rite Aid; 5400 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
September 17, 2022 – Rite Aid; 4530 North 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA
October 8, 2022 – Rite Aid; 6744-46 North 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA
October 11, 2022 – Rite Aid; 5400 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
October 28, 2022 – Rite Aid; 8130 Roosevelt Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA
November 1, 2022 – Rite Aid; 5400 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
November 8, 2022 – Rite Aid; 4530 North 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA
November 10, 2022 – Rite Aid; 5400 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
All of the robberies have taken place between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
The usual scenario has one or more of the suspects entering a store, displaying or indicating the presence of a gun, making threats, and demanding money. On several occasions, a suspect has gone behind the front counter to hurry store employees, or put hands on an employee and physically directed them to a cash register or office. (No employee has been physically harmed.)
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect 1 – Black male in his 20s, approximately 5’10” tall
Suspect 2 – Black male in his 20s, approximately 5’10” tall
Suspect 3 – Black male in his 20s, approximately 5’11” tall
SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS
