The search continues for the man accused of fatally shooting another male and leaving him inside a white car near La Pulga Guadalupe.
Laredo Crime Stoppers is featuring Fabricio Perez, 44, as his most wanted suspect. Perez has an active warrant for murder out of the Laredo Police Department.
Officers responded to an unresponsive person report sitting inside a white Mercedes-Benz at about 8 a.m. Aug. 18 in the 2500 block of Guadalupe Street by North Texas Avenue near La Pulga Guadalupe.
First officers on scene confirmed that the male was fatally shot. Police identified him as Julio Cesar Flores, 27. His death marked the city’s 10th homicide.
Perez was identified as the suspect through the course of the investigation. Investigators presented their findings to the District Attorney’s Office and obtained an arrest warrant for Perez.
"He is a fugitive from justice and should be considered armed and dangerous," LPD said in a statement.

Thoughts? I am taking somewhat of a risk posting this case since I have nothing to 100 percent verify Perez is still at large as of today's posting date (October 8th, 2022). I am simply reasonably assuming he still is since I don't see him in Laredo jail records and there's been no updates about a capture since late August.
