From indystar.com:
Early in the morning of Jan 2., 2021, Kirsten Brueggeman, 27, disappeared after an argument with friends outside a bar and walking alone in a parking lot.
Over a year later, Investigation Discovery will air an episode of its show "Disappeared" focusing on Brueggeman’s disappearance. The series chronicles the "unpredictable twists and turns of missing person cases," according to the show description.
Season 10 will premiere on Wednesday at 10 p.m. with Brueggeman’s episode, titled “Vanished in the Night.”
“Desperate for answers, Kirsten Brueggeman’s family shares her story and their plight to find her in the hopes that more people who know Kirsten’s story will be able to come forward with new information,” a press release from the network said.
Brueggeman’s family shared her story with IndyStar earlier this year.
The night Brueggeman went missing
Before Brueggeman went missing, she was at an establishment called Manley’s Irish Mutt on the city’s east side with her ex-boyfriend and several of his friends.
The group left Brueggeman behind at the pub, after arguing. Following the argument and her group leaving, Kirsten walked around Shortridge Road, though it's unclear where she was trying to walk.
Brueggeman was last seen around 2 a.m., on surveillance cameras covering the southeastern part of the YMCA parking lot, as well as part of the nearby parking lot for the Abbey Meadows apartment complex.
Brueggeman walked out of frame, then the camera stopped working, Det. Nicole Bockting of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department previously told IndyStar.
The camera picked back up around 2:30 a.m., but by then, there was no sign of Brueggeman, Bockting said.
Though there were gaps in video, Bockting theorized that Brueggeman jumped over to the apartment complex fence and was taken from there.
There was a dark SUV parked near the fence line of the YMCA and the apartment complex, which Bockting previously said is of interest. Shortly after the YMCA surveillance video comes back, at about 2:37 a.m., the vehicle is shown driving away and out of camera range. However, as of March 2022, police have not been able to identify the SUV due to the video quality.
Kevin Greenlee and Áine Cain, who host The Murder Sheet podcast, have also researched Brueggeman’s case for an upcoming episode of their show. The two are based in Indianapolis and have covered other local cases such as the Delphi and Burger Chef murders.
Cain said their goal with telling Brueggeman's story was to raise awareness.
“She just needs to be found,” Cain told IndyStar. “I mean, that's kind of our feeling at this point. The word needs to get out. She needs to be found.”
“Vanished in the Night” will air Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST on Investigation Discovery and will be available to stream the same day on Discovery Plus.

Thoughts? I am placing Kirsten's case in the Missing on TV section since it has now already aired on the first episode of the Disappeared reboot (Season 10 episode 1 9/7/2022). It is now available to watch on Discovery plus app)
