According to the Tarrant County Court Records database, Ivan Gastelum is wanted for the homicide of 17-year old Jose Serrano.
Newspapers.com articles state that Jose was driving with Ivan and Ivan's brother on June 2, 1991 in Fort Worth, Texas. Ivan had been doing drugs and ran out of money so he wanted Jose's gold chain. Jose refused to give Ivan the chain. Ivan then allegedly stabbed Jose to death.
Court records show that Ivan was arrested for the crime but fled after posting bond.

Thoughts? As of today, September 17, 2022, Ivan has a listed warrant in Tarrant County's court records database. The reason that Ivan's warrant was viewable compared to other Tarrant County fugitives that I checked was because he was arrested but fled after posting bond. Tarrant County seems to be a county that does not file court cases unless the defendant appears in court, which would not be the case for most fugitives.
I do hope that Jose's family can get the justice that they deserve.
