Never thought this would happen as in I thought it would take forever to go to trial according to the article he was also found guilty of kidnapping rape and sodomy and attempted murder all serious crimes under California law good riddance to this piece of sh!t he's never getting out

I’m genuinely amazed they didn’t seek the death penalty. I’m not in favor of it generally, but I believe Saenz enjoyed killing, and that he doesn’t have any remorse for what he did.

I assume it may be because of how complicated the death penalty is there. It technically was on the books but never used then the governor issued a stay on executions. So yeah maybe they could have went for the death penalty based on symbolism, but it seems very rare for it to actually be implemented these days.

It’s crazy that it’s almost 10 years after his capture and he’s just now getting convicted. Joe Saenz is the embodiment of what evil on earth is.

Now this is a very interesting turn of events los Angeles based newspaper la times has released an article about the horrific crimes he had committed ranging from the brutal homicide of the two rival gang members which the jury deadlocked on in trial but the fact he was connected to two of the more of the brutal homicides he not only killed that man in Whittier who he brutally gunned him down in cold blood and then the Fact the he was able to get away is heartbreaking Mr torres had no reason to die but saenz played judge jury and executioner but at least he was convicted of that murder but in my opinion the most horrific murder was the mother of his child Ms Garcia who I think truly loved saenz but saenz just manipulated her and used her to serving his own purposes but the fact that he did more then just kill her in her east los Angeles home he butchered her he also raped and sodomized her and then he fled the area but it gets worse he was able to bounce around and go back to los Angeles but the fact that he went back to the boyle heights area and he was known a infamous figure in the east la area even fellow gangsters in my opinion were afraid of him as bad as gangs are they usually have a code of conduct they follow but I think that even his fellow gangsters hated him and feared him because of his psychotic abd violent nature but the article shows what a menace he was in east los Angeles and Boyle heights area and like it or not we will definitely not be forgetting him even if we wish we could

I don’t mean this as not caring about the victims but I basically do actually try to forget these guys and girls once they’re sent away for life or given the death penalty. Saenz was on the top ten list so he’ll always be referred to in some way but in general I like to not make them more famous than they deserve although I will agree Saenz was one of the most psychotic gang fugitives ever. Although a much smaller frame he was essentially the real life version of Tuco Salamanca from Breaking Bad. But thankfully he’s locked up now.

Yeah I agree he wanted to be in control but now he'll die alone and forgotten in prison and he'll and his legacy will be one of that of pathetic murderer and a cowardly rapist
