This is really good news because I actually liked Disappeared back in the day during its first 6 seasons in 2009-2013, this show was like my replacement for AMW after it got cancelled, but Disappeared didn’t last too long after AMW 1.0’s demise. Never watched the Disappeared episodes that aired when it came back in 2015 or 16, but I’ll most likely watch these upcoming episodes. Just ironic that both shows (and host) I watched heavily a decade ago are being aired on the same channel with time slots next to one another. |

Anyone see the reboot? Have a bunch dvr'd since usually I'm busy recapping/decompressing from In Pursuit to watch live, but still haven't gotten a chance. From the previews, seems like essentially the same show though.

It's more or less the same, but much less narration. In fact, from the one episode I've seen so far, I think the only narration is during the opening sequence. It also appears to be focusing on more recent missing persons cases. The first episode was on Kirsten Brueggeman, from Indiana, who went missing in early January 2021.

Finally saw the first two episodes of new season. Pretty much the exact same show as original Disappeared as not a bad thing- tried and true formula that they didn't mess around with too much and still works.
