Juan Manuel Rodriguez, Jr. is wanted for his alleged involvement in a series of crimes which occurred on September 5, 2004, in Umatilla, Oregon. On that date, Rodriguez and two accomplices who have since been arrested, attacked a man on a road that runs near Interstate 84. Rodriguez allegedly shot the man in the face and, when the man tried to flee, Rodriguez allegedly shot at him again, but missed. As the victim fled towards the Interstate, Rodriguez and one of the accomplices caught the victim and allegedly dragged him closer to the Interstate. Rodriguez then allegedly stabbed the victim in the throat. As the victim tried to flee the scene one last time, he was struck by a passing vehicle and died at the scene.
On September 15, 2004, the Umatilla County Circuit Court indicted Rodriguez on one count each of Murder, Attempted Aggravated Murder, Manslaughter in the First Degree, Attempted Murder with a Firearm, Attempted Murder, Kidnapping in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree with a Firearm, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree with a Firearm, and Assault in the Second Degree. A federal arrest warrant charging Rodriguez with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued in the United States District Court, District of Oregon, Portland, Oregon, on August 16, 2005.
A news article also mentioned the name of the victim was 24-year old Jose Homero Campos.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Umatilla County Sheriff's Department at 541-966-3600 if you have any information on Juan Manuel Rodriguez's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, August 7, 2022, Juan has an active UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) warrant in PACER. The document mentioned the same possible locations that were mentioned on the FBI poster as to where he might be. Also to clarify the extensive list of charges, that appears to have been done for whatever reason by the local district attorney's office. Jose was the only victim in this case from what I can tell. Regardless, this was still a horrific homicide and Jose's family deserves justice.
