(Above photo credit: FBI.Gov) Fugitive Profile as of December 27th, 2014 (Based on FBI.gov profile) Aliases: Rebecca Ann Morgan, Donna Borup, Donna Austopchuk Date(s) of Birth Used: August 5, 1952; March 5, 1947; April 10, 1950 Place of Birth: South Amboy, New Jersey Height: 5'4" to 5'6" Weight: 160 to 170 pounds Occupation: Previously worked in graphic design and silkscreening Hair: Brown (May be Graying) Eyes: Brown or Blue Sex: Female Race: White Nationality: American Remarks: Borup has ties to Philadelphia and Horsham, Pennsylvania. She may wear eyeglasses and baggy clothes. Borup is thought to have a photographic memory and is highly intelligent. TIPS: If you have any information concerning this person, please contact your local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.Donna Borup is a cold case fugitive who was an AMW web-exclusive between 2009 and 2010. Below is an FBI profile description of her alleged crime: Donna Joan Borup is wanted for her alleged participation in a violent anti-apartheid demonstration at JFK International Airport in Queens, New York, on September 26, 1981. During the riot, Borup allegedly tossed a caustic substance into the eyes of a Port Authority Police Officer, leaving him partially blind. At the time, Borup was a member of the May 19th Communist Organization, a Marxist-Leninist organization which advocated the armed revolution and violent overthrow of the United States Government. Borup, along with some accomplices, was arrested and released on bail pending trial in May of 1982. On May 20, 1982, an arrest warrant was issued for Borup after she failed to appear for her trial on a Queens County indictment which charged her with riot in the first degree and assault in the first degree. On September 14, 1982, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Borup in the Eastern District of New York and she was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Thoughts? Thanks to Pakman's 2004 AMW episode guide we know Borup's face was actually on AMW before she became a listed fugitive on their website years later, as the profile on Elizabeth Duke and her weatherman organization was shown Borup's face was among them (off-topic but I realized in the middle of making this thread for Borup, we never did one on Elizabeth Duke. I thought we already had her on her site for some reason and since I was already in the middle of this Borup thread I decided to finish it, if anyone else wants to do a thread on Duke go for it). They mention all of Duke's gang was caught besides her, but we now know thanks to Pakman Borup was actually never caught. In any case, Borup in my opinion may be living a quiet domestic life in Pennsylvania or elsewhere which is why she's managed to stay on the run this long. www.fbi.gov/wanted/dt/donna-joan-borup/view (UPDATE: As of July 26th, 2018, Borup is still listed on the FBI's website as one of their most wanted terrorists) Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

I looked up the May 19th Communist Organization and found that they were the group that helped JoAnne Chesimard and another fugitive named William Morales escape from prison. Both have since fled to Cuba and remain there to this day. So even though it's not mentioned on her FBI poster, Donna Borup could be in Cuba as well.

Personally I don't think Borup is in Cuba but rather doing what Katherine Ann Power did and is living within the U.S. And Hawaii. Borup is also featured on this season of The Hunt so I look forward to her segment and I know this may not make sense since she is a domestic terrorist, but if the FBI want to close the case for good, I would consider her a fitting addition to the Top Ten if the FBI wanted to switch up the trend.
Honestly a Borup addition would make sense after her airing on The Hunt, the amount of slots open on the Ten Most Wanted and the possibility of her being in the states still.

I think one argument against Borup being in Cuba is most of these cold case fugitives hiding there were found out one way or the other.
If there was strong evidence she was there, we theoretically should have heard about it already.

If there was strong evidence she was there, we theoretically should have heard about it already. That is true we probably would have gotten hints that she was taken to Cuba, but it seems she may have had no means to get to Havana and allegedly it was said that she was last seen in Eastern New York State after she jumped bail, which leads me to believe that instead she's either somewhere in the NY-PA region of the country or fled to Canada.

I'm basically in agreement on those theories. Actually really looking forward to The Hunt profile even though it's not for a few months.

This is one of the fugitives I'm looking forward to big time, her airing will be a treat and well deserved to finally bring her to justice for throwing acid on a cop.

This is not a surprise as usually the FBI bumps up a fugitive to their respective section if airing on the Hunt the following Sunday but good to have the official reflection now lol.

I really hope we look into Borup’s life and let’s hope she didn’t flee to Cuba. Then again why would they air her on The Hunt if she were in Cuba. Over the last 5 years authorities have increased her reward from $20,000 to $50,000 in 2014 and then again in 2016 to $100,000. Airing her on The Hunt is pretty much appropriate.

It just dawned on me, WAS there a domestic terrorism list before? I was thinking of regular terrorist section and didn't realize the FBI had a domestic terrorism list on their site.

Yes it’s always been there, it’s not a list but it’s a section of the FBI site, Daniel San Diego used to be there before 2009 and Donna Borup has been part of that section for about 5 years now since 2012, so she’s fairly recent to the FBI site. Leo Burt has always been there too.
