Cruz Rodriguez is wanted in connection with a triple homicide, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal archives.

Cruz is accused of shooting and killing 32-year old Arnulfo Soto, 24-year old Bruno Soto and 31-year old Guadalupe Covarruvias-Hernandez. The men had been drinking in a mobile home for several hours. Cruz was charged with three counts of homicide in January of 2007. Cruz was then charged with Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution in June of 2007 after friends and relatives told investigators that Cruz fled to Mexico.

Thoughts? As of today, July 24, 2022, Cruz has a warrant flag in Las Vegas's court records database. He also has an active UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) warrant in PACER.

The only reason I even know about this case was that I was going through the Las Vegas Review Journal archives in Newsbank for fugitive related news articles. Thankfully you can see images of that newspaper so for a small fee I was able to get Cruz's photo.

Regardless of the motive and circumstances, any fugitive accused of a triple homicide should be a top priority for law enforcement in my view. Hopefully this thread can be of some assistance because there really needs to be more publicity on this case.

Alcohol being put in the mix never really ends well if these guys were unfortunately of the type or types that love to take it to “the next level”. You’ve got people at times being annoying or get very aggressive and ultimately leads to broken friendships or with family, to sadly someone murdering 3 people as in this case.

I agree these triple homicide cases regardless of motive or reasons, should be given more publicity because an individual who kills multiple people is capable of doing the worst, they’re too far gone.

Mexico is a sure location, but if that’s the only photo they have of him, then finding him will be difficult.

I agree with everything else that you said, just wanted to address the photo. I think that the quality of the Newsbank archives was not the best that it could be and there is probably a better image available. At least I hope so because sometimes we have horrible images, if any at all.
