Jesus Rene Garcia is wanted for the homicide of 31-year old Victor Hugo Flores. The men were at a party when a fight started. Authorities allege that Jesus struck Victor with a chair and then slashed him to death with a machete.
Jesus then caught up with a partygoer on the street and allegedly stabbed and wounded that victim as well. Jesus has been a fugitive ever since.

Thoughts? As of today, June 25, 2022, Jesus is listed as having a warrant/not being in custody according to Harris County's court records database. I checked PACER and did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Jesus.
This is a really horrible case and Victor's family deserves justice. Unfortunately if Jesus is back in his native country of Honduras, then he is untouchable under that country's extradition agreement with the United States.
