Pablo Rangel is wanted for the homicide of 17-year old Frank Mendoza. Information on this case was found through the Dallas County court documents database and Newslibrary archives.
Frank and Pablo were in an apartment with a few other men and were drinking. The two men got into a fight and Pablo accused Frank of breaking into his car and stealing his stereo. Frank denied this and walked away. Authorities say Pablo grabbed an assault rifle and went after Frank with an accomplice. They caught up to Frank and forced him into their vehicle.
Frank was driven to an open field where Pablo allegedly shot him in the leg. Frank was then shot by the accomplice. Frank tried to run away but fell to the ground. He was then shot one more time, killing the teenager. A witness claimed that Pablo bragged about "giving Frank the last shot in the head".
Warrants would eventually be issued for Pablo and his accomplice. The accomplice was located and pleaded guilty but Pablo remains at large to this day.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact North Texas Crime Stoppers at 1-877-373-TIPS (8477) if you have any information on Pablo Rangel's whereabouts.

Thoughts? There have been no uploaded documents to the Dallas County Court Documents database regarding this case since 1995. There is also no disposition for Pedro's homicide case in the Dallas County Court Records database. I am concluding that Pedro is still a fugitive based on this as of today, June 11, 2022.
It's very concerning that a 17-year old (at the time of the crime) is still on the run over 25 years later for allegedly murdering another 17-year old. If possible, I hope that this manhunt can get some renewed publicity at some point.
I also did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Pablo in PACER.
