The trend lately seems to be most fugitive additions are recent or somewhat recent but they'll reserve 1 or 2 slots for a cold case fugitive. (Right now it's Brad Bishop and one other slot I like to call the wild card slot while the other eight are already on there and/or a new recent case). Obas' opportunity to take that wild card slot was probably last decade though. Fidel Urbina and Edward Harper were the last cold case fugitives (who had been on the run for 14 years) that were added as social media in the late 2000s/early 2010s (like 2010-2012) was just starting up and reaching its peak, Brad Bishops Addition was possible for many reasons, but the fact that everyone is now connected to the internet worldwide, the creation of new social media platforms in the time since have made additions of Brad Bishop and Robert Van Wisse possible. I think if they wanted to give it a shot, it’ll happen and it’ll possibly work, especially since Obas is only 40 years old or so, and the those cold cases are the best ones since the offender is still young in today’s standards. The photos from 20 years ago could go with some New age progressed photos, which is the same they did for Robert Van Wisse. Although I do agree his addition should have happened in the 2000s or at the latest 2010, I feel that right now would be perfect because of the pop culture climate with everyone being on the internet and social media platforms have reached their pinnacle.

I found a poster of Stanley Obas online, and it states he was born on September 24, 1976 although it could be 1978

A lot of the talk and focus in this case is mostly in Canada or the United States, but given the passage of time without any developments, Stanley Obas is likely in Haiti and the possibility of him being deceased is always a possibility if you want to talk about the Hurricanes that have battered that country since 1996 or the better known yet devastating 2010 earthquake.
He also apparently had a crush on Richezza Williams, and didn’t participate in the torture, so I wonder if it probably ate or is eating at him during his time on the run, keep in mind he didn’t participate in the torture and he stayed put with Sugusti.

Stanley Obas has now been added to the FBI's Featured Fugitives page! Perhaps he's a potential 10 Most Wanted candidate or he may be featured early next on In Pursuit. Regardless this new publicity is really good to see. www.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/stanley-obas

It’s very amazing what happened but let’s hope for the better that he’s added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted since I’m assuming he’s in Haiti, instead of New York.

Yeah I said Obas was not likely to be added because he wasn't on the site for two decades. I mean you have to be on the site usually to be considered. Now that he is, I definitely take what I said back and see him as a very likely top ten contender now.

I don’t necessarily think Obas would be added to the list for four reasons:
1) Anyone notice the lack of an age-enhanced photo/sketch? 2) I didn’t see any FBI Press Release on the matter. 3) No reward offered at this time. 4) Obas has been implicated in this brutal crime, but from the accounts I have read, he was the least involved of the three in the torture death.

Stanley Obas was announced yesterday on the FBI Most Wanted twitter account and it says that he is wanted for his alleged involvement of torturing and murdering, but it also says sexually assaulting the victim too. Can anyone confirm this?

I don't recall the sexual assault aspect but the FBI wouldn't put it in there if it wasn't believed to be true, so them stating it is pretty much the confirmation.

Enough time has passed to reveal that based on website image feeds, the FBI was planning to add Stanley Obas to their top ten list. However, it has now been over a month since that was discovered so we shall see.

However, it has now been over a month since that was discovered so we shall see. It appears that the FBI has added the age enhanced photo previously in the feeds to his regular FBI page, im not sure if this means he won’t be added or not. Good call on not revealing the name when we weren’t certain, we’ll see what happens

Please believe me: I am not trying to upstage HeadMarshal. I have found Stanley Obas' old AMW profile from archived pages.
The good news: he is in Interpol. I forgot to mention that there are two things that caught me by surprise: 1) According to the information, he was last seen in Brooklyn, NY (which probably prompted the UFAP warrant); 2) It says he may possibly be in the Kansas City area.
I'm somewhat surprised of the possibility of him being in Kansas City, MO. The reason being, they do have quite a few immigrants (it is a huge hub for Somali-Americans who have moved to the U.S. for better lives), but it does not have a high Haitian-American population. Just a thought, but I wouldn't rule him out being in Florida. Florida has more Haitian-Americans than any other State (nearly half a million people). Massachusetts has the second-highest population followed by New York.
The fact that he was with the "Cash Money Boys Gang" is probably a dried-up lead at this point. That gang has been all but broken-up by the Feds since the 1990s.

Just a thought, but I still think Obas is going on the list, and there is empirical evidence that the addition of the age-enhanced photo to his current poster isn’t a sign he won’t be added. Remember: the FBI revealed the age-enhanced photos of Octaviano Juarez-Corro before he was added to the Ten Most Wanted List.
Another important date coming up is the victim’s birthday on September 1, but I doubt the FBI will wait that long for the announcement.

I still think he's going to be added eventually. I stress I'm not accusing the FBI of laziness but I feel the reason for the delay is they slow down in the summar/take things a bit easier until the government itself officially back in full swing.
